With a Broken Heart
William ( Bill ) Etique Gippert 82 years old passed away peacefully on June 04, 2026 in Paradise, California at 12:30 am following a brief illness.
He was born on January 18, 1944.
His hobby was his Hot Rods He built many starting at the age of 15.
Bill worked as a mechanic and a metal fabricator and an artist and pin stripper, Von Dutch style. Worked
for the city of Chico tree trimming. The last 32 years he was retired.
Bill is survived by:
His partner of over 20 years, Sally Palmer.
Daughter, Deborah Ludwig and son in law, Chet Ludwig.
Grandsons, Tim Townsend and Kevin Townsend. And great grandchildren.
Step-Daughter, Amberly Palmer Bailey and step son, Jordan Bailey
Step- Granddaughter, Sadie Bailey
Step-Son, Jeffery Palmer
Klempa Family, Step-Grandchildren Alana Klempa and AJ Klempa and twins Luca and Paxton
Niece, June Pitcock and Jim Pitcock, Kelli Sohnrey, Pam Don and Arron Don and grandchildren, Diana

The graveside service will take place at the old Magalia Cemetery, Wednesday, June 17 at 2 PM
following a celebration of life at the Ponderosa Gardens Motel room 55.
