Ronald Dale Watts

Ronald D. Watts passed away on April 13, 2022 in Paradise, CA. He was 74. He was born to Richard and Dolores Watts on June 14, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. Ronald worked for the U.S. postal service for 40 years and was a mail carrier in Paradise, CA. He lived to help others, and as Part of Mountain Movers Ministry, he lived by theses words " Being a servant is absolutely essential for one to imitate Christ. No life can come close to reflecting him apart from being others oriented both in purpose and in practice."  He was very active in Gideons International, Mountain Movers Ministry, Wood Ministry providing fire wood for those who could not provide it for themselves and he volunteered for many of the churches in Paradise and helped any way he could in the rebuilding of town. Another part of his community service included his membership in the Paradise Lions and Garden Clubs.  Ronald was a loving father Grandfather and friend to all that met him. He is survived by his son Aaron Watts of Chico, CA his grandchildren Brock Watts, Nora and Isla Watts. He was preceded by a daughter Ashleigh Watts. A celebration of life service will be held at the First Baptist Church on Clark Road in Paradise at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Contributions can be made to the local charity of your choice that is set up to rebuild Paradise.
