Richard Rovetto Sr. Obituary

Richard Louis Rovetto Sr., a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, in Oroville, California, at the age of 82. Born on April 30, 1942, at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, CA, Richard spent the first half of his life in the Bay Area before moving to Paradise, CA, in 1977. He eventually settled in Oroville, where he lived out the remainder of his days.

Richard devoted his career to the printing industry, where his craftsmanship and dedication left a lasting impression on his colleagues and clients alike. A passionate car enthusiast, he was a proud member of the Corvette Club in Chico, CA, finding joy in the camaraderie of fellow car lovers and the thrill of the open road.

In retirement, Richard spent his days in the company of his loyal Golden Retriever, Miss Daisy, who brought him great comfort and companionship. His family was his greatest pride and joy. He leaves behind his two sons, Richard Rovetto II and Gary Rovetto, as well as 10 cherished grandchildren who carry forward his legacy of kindness, humor, and love.

Richard's life was a testament to perseverance, passion, and the deep connections he forged with those around him. He will be remembered for his infectious giggle, his love for his family, and the beautiful life he shared with them.

A verse from Ezekiel offers solace as we remember Richard:
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." — Ezekiel 36:26

In honoring his memory, let us hold close the lessons of love and resilience he taught us. Richard Louis Rovetto Sr. will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
