Richard Rubia Rosal

Richard Rubia Rosal, 51, of Paradise, CA, died of colon cancer on October 23, 2025,
less than a couple of months after his diagnosis.
Richard was born in San Vicente, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on September 28, 1974. He
was the first of 5 children to parents, Bienvenido and Elizabeth Rosal. From the
Philippines he moved to the US with his parents and lived most of his life in the Yuba
City/ Marysville area. Richard was a good son, brother, and uncle. Richard knew many
people from when he was a driving instructor, when he was an avid tennis player at the
Raquet Club, and when he was a frequent flyer at local coffee shops. He was always
kind and carried conversations.
Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Cecilia Wilson, and is survived by his
partner, Lydia, his parents, two brothers, Johnny Rosal and Kenneth Rosal, and sister,
Bernadette Ivey.
