Rachel ( Hunter ) Begbie June 21, 1960 - October 14, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Rachel Begbie. Rachel fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer for more than one year.

Rachel was a loving wife to her husband Paul; a devoted mother to Alex, caring step mother to Scott and Janessa loyal sister to Kathy and Steve; doting grandmother to her four grandchildren.u

Rachel was born and raised in Alameda, CA and lived the last 30 years in Magalia and Chico. She worked her entire career as a Registered Dental Assistant.

Rachel is survived by many close friends and will be dearly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her name to Enloe Regional Cancer Center, Enloe Hospice or the Chico Bishop's Storehouse, where she loved to give her support to those in need following the Camp Fire in 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held June 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. 1968 East 8th in Bidwell Park near the Nature Center. Please arrive a few minutes early.
