LABOSKY, SR., Philip William—84, a twenty-year resident of Paradise, CA. Born January 8th, 1938, in Lockwood, New York. Died on February 5th, 2022, at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson, CA, after a short illness. He was proceeded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Michele; by his parents, George, and Kathryn; and by his brothers Michael, Peter, Leon, George, Sammy; and sister Ann McCarthy.
He is survived by his three sons: John, Tony, and Philip Jr.; his two daughters: Sonja Cupler and Maria Webber; his 13 grandchildren: Nicholas, Natasha, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Jennifer, Cole, Toby, Trinity, Dallas, Anthony, Matthew, Cash and Ruby; by his brothers Paul and Joe; sister, Martha Farwell; and many nieces and nephews.
In 1955 he enlisted in the US Air Force and worked in Radar Maintenance and was honorably discharged in 1959 as a Airman Second Class. After military life he moved to California and learned the construction trade and eventually went on to become a licensed Building Contractor for over 50 years.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 11th, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Paradise Cemetery, 980 Elliott Road, Paradise, CA 95969. A pastor from Jordan Crossing Ministries will lead the service. A reception will be held following the service.
