Mary Antonetti Obituary

Mary Ann Antonetti

1938 – 2021

Mary Ann Antonetti, born in Marysville, May 1, 1938 passed in Oroville, September 7, 2021. The family of Mary Antonetti (Mylar) who passed away at Oroville Hospital was the twin sister of Bob Mylar and younger sister to Bill Mylar. Mother to son Mike Antonetti (Theresa) and Todd Antonetti (Lily), grandmother to Tess Antonetti, Tara Antonetti and Kylie Antonetti and she had five great grandchildren. Mary graduated from Live Oak High School in 1956 and married Jerry Antonetti in 1957 who she remained devoted to for 64 years. She had a long productive career working and retired after many years of dedicated service.

Mary got to know and was admired by many people through her work, and social life, Mary was many things to many people in her life, a loving wife, a doting mother to our two sons, a little sister, a caring daughter to her mother after her father’s passing, a trusted friend, and a person who often reached out with kindness to others.  She was a beautiful woman whose laugh was contagious and her smile could light up a room.  As well as her many friends, Mary leaves behind two sons, Mike and Todd, her beloved husband Jerry and also three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren, her dog Moly and cat Bucky who will all truly miss her dearly.

To honor her wishes, there will be no service (COVID) and Mary will be laid to rest beside her dear mother Sadie and E.W. Mylar at Memorial Park Cemetery on Lincoln Blvd. The family wishes to thank all who made Mary’s life so full and robust.  Good night, my sweetheart.  My you have peace after a life well lived.
