Lillian Ann Elkins

On April 21st, Lillian " Lil " Elkins went to be with the Lord. Lillian is survived by her three children Vernon, Steve and Brenda and her 10 grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Judy.

Lillian was born in Russelville, Arkansas in 1924 and was the oldest of 6 kids. She met the love of her life Vernon Elkins, they were married in Arkansas. heir first child Judy was born in Arkansas and in the mid forties they moved to California and Lillian and Vernon settled in the town of Loomis, CA. They lived in Loomis for 60 years. Lillian lost her sweetheart in 2002.

In 2012 Lillian moved to Paradise, CA to live with her daughter Brenda. Lillians favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandkids. she loved getting together with everyone to watch the 49ers and the Kings. She was an amazing mother and grandma and always full of life !

Lillian was a wonderful homemaker, cook and gardener, she was also a great seamstress. She had the gift of hospitality, and everyone who walked into her home felt welcome.

Lillian had a strength inside, and she survived quite a few health issues, and even the 2018 fire in Paradise. Her faith carried her through, and she always spoke fondly of the hereafter. She will be missed by so many, but she is at peace with her sweetheart again.
