Obituary

Larry Ray Hiestand was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.  He left this world suddenly on December 04, 2022, at the age of 71.

Larry was born on August 11, 1951, in Southgate California.  At the age of 18 years old, he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country from 1969-1972, to include a tour in Vietnam.  Once receiving an honorable discharge, he entered back into his trade of carpentry where he would continue to work until he retired in 2009.

He is survived by his spouse, Linda Hiestand, his children Samantha Fabian, Joe & Tami Deal, sisters Sherrie Padilla and Vickie Innes, grand children Michael, Michelle, Madeline, Melanie, Megan and Orion and great grandchildren Ryker, Dawson and Levi.  He was truly a family man and an avid outdoorsman.

A service is scheduled for 11 am on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Scheer Memorial in Oroville.
