Joanne Maria Knight

Joanne Knight passed away peacefully in her home on May 12th, 2023. Joanne is survived by her tight-knit friend group whom she became close to through her tenure as a social worker focusing on adoptions, her son Christopher and his three children: Kyle, Max and Jude. Those close to Joanne know that she is now in heaven and at peace alongside her other son Jonathan. Joanne wrote the following note regarding her perspective on life: 

I believe I am a good person and friend. I try to help people if at all possible. I love my sons more than they will ever know. I hope one day they are able to see this fact. 

I believe in the following. The way one looks does not define who they are. Life is short. Don’t waste it on things that do not matter. You may suffer many defeats before you know you’re not defeated. Finally, when looking for your mate and life-long friends, find individuals that have self-worth and self-esteem. Find individuals that love you and give back to you. Don’t pick the leaches
