Horace Glen Brown

Horace Glen Brown passed away July 30th 2023 peacefully at his residence. Born June 03, 1946 in
Oroville, CA, Horace graduated school early so he could enlist in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17. After
completing his tour, he settled in Los Angeles, CA where he met and married his wife of 45 years. To
their union was born their son, Andre Seneca. In 1978, Horace returned to Oroville with his family. He
worked 24 years for the Department of Water Resources, State of California until he retired. Horace
was very involved with his church, serving as an Usher, Deacon and Chairman of the Trustee Board. He
is survived by his wife and son and granddaughter. Homegoing Service will be on Wednesday, August 9th
at 10:00AM at 2959 Lower Wyandotte Rd., Southside Community Center in Oroville.
