Glenna Lee Goates

Glenna Lee Goates passed away peacefully in her home on February 24, 2018. She was born to Sandie and Hattie Richardson in Butler, Oklahoma on March 19, 1921. Mrs. Goates loved bowling, baking, painting and spending time with her family. She married her late husband, James Willie "Bill" Goates in Riverside, CA in 1939. They moved with family from Buena Park to Paradise in 1968. She worked for many years as a cook at the Feather River Hospital. Mrs. Goates is survived by a son, Glen Edward Goates, two daughters, Madonna Wallick and Linda Telfer; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James Goates. A visitation will be held Friday, March 2nd, from 4:00 to 8:00 P. M at Rose Chapel in Paradise.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3rd, at 10:00 A.M. also at Rose Chapel in Paradise.
