George Cairo, 88 years old, passed away on February 15th at home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and a loving friend to many. Born in Richmond California, George lived a life with love, laughter and kindness. He was known for his warm smile and ability to befriend one and all. He worked hard all his life and played hard after retirement. He loved and had many antique cars and trucks. The junk yard was his shopping mall. He was a volunteer at the Oroville Tool Museum for many years. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Brenda, Sons Ron (Terri), Frank (Sandy)and Brenda’s children who thought of him as dad, Glenn (Diane), Donna (Rob), Vikki (Dan), Stacey (Tom) and his 14 grandchildren and their spouses and 16 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Butte Home Health and Hospice, Chico, California.
