Evelyn Ruth Rockwell Klotz passed away peacefully (age 95), on April 17, 2022, at her loving and caring residential care home in Roseville, California, with her family by her side. Evelyn worked as a nurse for 35 years, and was a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist church her entire life.
Evelyn was born in Provo, Utah, and had seven siblings. She moved to California at sixteen, soon married G. Leonard Rockwell and they lived and worked in National City, Sonora, Magalia (California) and in Provo and Springville (Utah). After the untimely death of Leonard, she moved to Paradise, California, and later married Jacob Klotz. Evelyn and Jacob relocated to Roseville, California, following the Camp Fire in Paradise in November 2018.
Evelyn is survived by her youngest brother Bob; her children Gerald and Rosalyn; her stepchildren Daryl, Dwayne, Vonnett and Myron; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands; her two sisters Norma and Virginia; and her brothers, Morris, Clyde, Shirl and Eugene.
