EDWARD "ED" MOSES SALOME

Edward (Ed) Salome passed away peacefully on February 28, 2022, surrounded by family. He was born March 13, 1938, in El Paso, Texas to Parents Edward and Sophia Salome. Ed was a resident of Paradise, California for 30 years and during his retirement, served as the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce head for 10 years. He was a graduate of University of New Mexico where he studied electrical engineering. Prior to his move to Paradise, he spent 30 years in civil service to the U.S. Navy on Mare Island in Vallejo, California. Ed was dedicated to serving his community and helping others. He was immersed in supporting his church, his community and his family. His love of gardening, fuchsias in particular, prompted his involvement in the American Fuchsia Society for many years. Ed was also involved in the Paradise Lions Club. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Judy, daughter Susan (Robbie), grandson Eddie, brother Samuel and sister Mary Ann. A funeral service will be held on March 19, 2022, at 2:00pm at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church in Paradise, California. Contributions can be made to St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, Paradise, California
