David Reginald Feldhaus

6/9/1956 -2/27/2021

David was born June 9, 1956 in Mobile Alabama to Paul and Patricia Feldhaus and moved to Chico California in 1970.

He graduated from Chico High in 1974 where he played soccer along with his brothers and coached by Steve Kirkwald.  He married the love of his life, Tracie Johnson in 1975. Together they raised their son, Torey, his greatest accomplishment, in Paradise.  David loved being a Boy Scout leader for his son.and continued to do so after Torey achieved his Eagle Scout status.  He was an avid camper, hiker and thanks to his son, a bicyclist. David had some great work places, Noah’s Restaurant and Cornucopia in Paradise, a pest control tech, Fashion Optical of Paradise, Underground Ammo and Ace Hardware where he made many friends and acquaintances.  David was a Campfire survivor and was determined to continue living in the Paradise area which he did until his unexpected passing.  David loved to help people and entertain them with his stories in great detail. He especially enjoyed being an usher at Paradise Alliance Church.

David was preceded in death by his wife Tracie, his parents Paul and Pat Feldhaus and his brothers Mark and Charles.  He is survived by his son Torey Feldhaus, his siblings Kathy Kirkley, Paula Hulen, Bill (Yvonne),  Stephen and Fred Feldhaus and many nephews, nieces and cousins and his beloved dog Romeo. We only wish he was still here to tell you one more story.

A memorial service will be held May 7th at 2pm at Paradise Alliance Church to celebrate his life.
