November 5, 1917 - October 4, 2017

On October 4, 2017, Charlotte Short completed her purpose on earth and went to be with her heavenly Father.  Pet her family affectionately called her was born November 5, 1917, (ONE CENTURY) the daughter of the late Charlie Stevenson and Lorena Moore of Louisiana she was the youngest of two children her late brother John Stevenson.

Charlotte accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She always kept God as the center of her life. She was truly a woman of faith and lived her life accordingly to His word. She was a devoted and loyal member of Free Trinity Church Oroville.  

Charlotte moved to Colusa California as a young child and later moved to Oroville. There she met and married her Husband Willie Short in 1976. She worked as a care provider most of her life. Loving and caring for others was something that came natural. She was a devoted Wife and mother who will be missed so dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Willie A. Short, of 41 years two daughters Bridgett Brown (Theodore) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Brenda Harris (Kenneth) Suisun City, CA; one nephew John Stevenson, two grandchildren Brianna Washington and Derrick Lewis 7 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins and sorrowing friends.
