Darin Dean Hanson

Darin Dean Hanson was born on November 13, 1970, in Oroville, CA. He passed away on January 17, 2024, in Oroville CA. Darin was only 53 years of age. 

Darin was our "Ray of Sunshine". His smile and joy reached everyone he encountered. His love for life was contagious. He was best known for being an amazing "unkie" to many nieces and nephews. He took his title of being an "unkie" very seriously and lived his life for his nieces and nephews, they were his greatest joy in this world. You could say they were his "Ray of sunshine". He will always be remembered as a man who loved his family. He enjoyed spending quality time with everyone in his family. Family time was what Darin lived for. 

Darin had many passions in his lifetime. On any given day you could see him representing his Chicago Bears, or his beloved Nascar to watch Jeff Gordon. Along with sports Darin loved spending time with his church family at Pursuit Christian Church. His church gave him a wonderful spiritual family and grew his relationship and love for God. 

Darin is survived by his beautiful sister Teri Amburn, and her husband Rodney, his wonderful brother Ronnie Hanson, niece Holly (and Blake) Jordan, niece Haley (and Cam) Ball, nephew Austin (and Jessica) Mahoney, niece Shannon Brogden, niece Rayna Hanson, lifelong best friend Richard Youngblood, along with many great nieces, nephews and cousins. Darin was predeceased by his loving mother Dolly Hanson. 

Darin also leaves behind his best buddy, his dog, Gidget. For anyone wanting to remember Darin the family asks that you donate on Darins behalf to your favorite animal shelter.
